   Looking for any articles or links people may have or may have come across about the value of a Superintendent. I'm about to enter contract negotiations and my advisor has suggested these may be helpful in the process. Any and all help appreciated.

   John,
   If you can find it, The Turf Managers Handbook by the late great Dr. W.H. (Bill) Daniel And Ray Freeborg. The entire 2nd chapter is devoted to what we do. If you love what you do and you're doing a good job at it, sometimes that can speak louder than anything written on paper. But if you need to just remind them what you have been able to do for them. Just some thoughts

   Another good resource would be the Carolinas GCSA. Trent Bouts has written a few articles and also produced a promotional piece. I think it was called the 'Top Ten Reasons to Love Your GC Supt.'. Their website is: www.carolinasgcsa.org & their toll free number is 800/476-4272. I am confident that they can be of great assistance in providing you some resources.
