Sandy Clark, CGCS said: Has anyone paid much attention to this? I guess the FCC wants to get involved in policing content in newsrooms. That is called Tyranny! We already have slipped in a world poll when rated for freedom of the press. Who says our liberties aren't under attack daily. This should make you very suspicious of the Obama administration. They are already using the IRS, the EPA and other government agencies to circumvent the congress. If this was as clearly going on under a republican administration, screams for impeachment would be everywhere. Why are only Fox News, Drudge and Talk radio covering this? Is the left leaning press willing to cover for Obama on this like they do on nearly everything else?
Sandy see the bold area above and maybe that answers your question....it's because that is what their viewers want to hear?
I did come across this article from October 2013, which is about consolidations because the FCC isn't really doing anything about it and these groups have found loop holes. It talks about new corps. more interested in profit over local new sources. It mentioned the access and money spent by PACS after the Citizens United verdict. If anyone has benefited from that it has been the right and the republicans.

There is the Wall Street Journal opinion piece that talks about what you have discussed, but taking the opinion out of it, it seems to report that questioning is voluntary. I can see where there could be some concern, actually I kind of question the need, but it would be nice to find newsrooms that cover both sides of the issues. And more navigatable sites for us to do our own research. But I do remind myself that isn't the WSJ now owned by Ruppurt Murdoch? here is that link:
