Ok, Driving range numbers. The yellow ones that look like mud flaps.
Mine have been out for some time now and are covered with some kind of mystery organism dirt?

It resembles the black stuff you see around Bourbon distilleries on all of the trees and surrounding buildings.

I have tried bleach, floor cleaner, window cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, carb cleaner, metal parts cleaner, anti- bacterial cleaner, TSP, I am out of things in the shop.

My next thought is go out and buy muriatic acid.

    Got any suggestions???

I have used Zerotol on algae on wooden steps and concrete. It works extremely well.

    Mark,

Joel Braun with Technical Choice is carrying a product called Z-Care that should wipe out whatever you are dealing with. After seeing him demo it at the OTF show and then trying some of it on our cart directional signs, I can say this stuff will clean up just about anything. Give him a call as he should have a demo bottle he carries with him. Here is some more information on the product.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks Ryan,

Joel should be stopping by next week or so and he will trip over my shop full of numbers and signs.

Try Eximo which is a synthetic acid and also a great cleaner. A friend of mine uses it to wash golf carts and I have cleaned everything including an old trumpet that had not been played in years. This stuff will cut through the worst imaginable and is safe to the touch.
