Is what occurred in Oakland this past weekend what has become of the occupy movement? The taking over of city parks and leaving them looking like third world countries, some poop on a patrol car......is one thing. Breaking into a locked City HAll, trashing a historicAl portion of the building, burning an American flag with the protesters wearing bandanas on their faces like members of Ham mas or Al Qaeda........hard to have any sympathy with their movement. Hard to get any comparison with a Tea Party protest. But Oakland has long been known as city that goes a little more rad than most

I just read this morning that the Occupiers disrupted a peaceful right to life protest by shouting them down and throwing condoms on a group of Catholic school girls. The priest involved with the peaceful protest was prevented from speaking because the occupiers got so out of hand. I said early on that we would see violence and I bet it will be targeted to be around party conventions. If the democrats continue to embrace the so-called cause of these anarchists, it will cost them far more votes than ever imagined. If anyone still thinks the occupiers are comparable to the Tea Party movement they have simply lost their grip on reality.
