Too many other contributing factors to make it a worthwhile impact.
I bet teaching children to respect fire arms and what they are capable of doing would go much farther than shielding them from their existence. But then again...I thought providing participation trophies would mean there would be no winners just a bunch of losers!
Now, that generation is starting to lead our country (corporate/political)...Lord help us!
Interesting thought Trevor, you would also think in some communities like Chicago, going to funerals of young innocent children would do maybe the same thing?
I think more law enforcement on the streets would help, but the communities themselves don't do enough to stop it and as lefty leaning as I am the Rev. Al and Jacksons and the others should spend as much time on those issues as they do on the white on black violence in my opinion. Actually all violence should be marched upon regardless of color. Maybe if more jobs and education was available, almost as similar in my opinion as the Middle East issues?
Of course is certainly isn't as simple as that, but it would be a start.
