   Greetings,
   
   Republican Bob turner scored an upset victory in a special election over David Weprin, a Democrat Assemblyman from a prominent local political family. Mr. Turner won the house seat vacated from former Democrat Anthony Weiner. Democrats out numbered Republicans better than 3 to 1 in the voting district.
   
   Also Tuesday, Republican Mark Amodei won a landslide victory in a U.S. House special election in Nevada.
