Colonel John Morley Centennial Campaign provides chapters an opportunity to donate and fund new initiatives for the next 100 years

In 2026, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America proudly marks 100 years of innovation, dedication, and growth for the golf course management industry. From humble beginnings to becoming a leader in the industry, our journey has been one of passion, resilience, and unwavering commitment to our members.

Join us in celebrating this monumental achievement as we look back on a century of milestones and look forward to the exciting possibilities ahead. Together, we have built something extraordinary — and the next 100 years are sure to be even more remarkable.

The GCSAA Foundation has embarked on a Centennial fundraising campaign to establish a new endowment honoring GCSAA’s founder, Col. John Morley, with a goal of raising $1 million to fund new and innovative initiatives for the next 100 years.

Four donor levels are available for GCSAA Chapters to assist in raising funds for the foundation:

-          Legacy Leader ($5,000)

-          Century Circle ($2,500)

-          Heritage Partner ($1,000)

-          Centennial Contributor ($500)

In addition to the numerous recognition and benefits (see chart below), each participating chapter will receive a small paver on GCSAA Headquarters Centennial Plaza which is currently under construction in Lawrence, KS.

As we reflect on the past century, we are filled with gratitude for the incredibly loyal members, allied and industry partnerships, and talented team members who have helped shape our success. I hope you will consider a chapter donation to help us continue to fulfill our mission for the next generation of golf course superintendents.
