The 100 Acts of Service campaign is a chapter-driven initiative tied to GCSAA’s Centennial, grounded in Col. John Morley’s message, “No life is, or can be, self-existent. We depend upon each other.”
Chapters will complete and submit one act of service that reflects community impact, stewardship, education, or service to others. GCSAA will collect, recognize, and share these acts as part of the Centennial story.
The activity doesn’t have to be new and can occur anytime during the year. Examples:
Funding scholarships
Food drive
Toys for Tots
Golf tournament to raise funds for the community
Volunteering for First Green, First Tee or other youth outreach
Helped with clean-up/maintenance for parks, cemeteries, sports fields, etc.
Every act brings Morley's words to life and helps celebrate the Centennial. Remember:
One activity = one act
Ongoing programs count as one activity
It does not have to be an official chapter event, it's whenever your chapter members participate together in service activities in the community.
Honor 100 years of service together.
Share the professionalism and community service activities of chapters at the local level.
GCSAA will share on its media outlets and social channels.
