Golf Championships, presented by Toro, kicking off Jan. 27 in Phoenix

2024 event marks 30th year of partnership with Toro

Lawrence, Kan. (Oct. 3, 2023) – The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Golf Championships, presented by Toro, will tee off Jan. 27 at three premier Phoenix area golf courses featuring formats for every skill level. The 2024 event will mark the 30th consecutive year Toro has partnered with the GCSAA to present this tournament.

The 2024 GCSAA Golf Championships will be contested Jan. 27-29  in conjunction with the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show. The 2024 course and format line-up features:

GCSAA on Sirius XM

This week's broadcast
Mark Swygert, superintendent, Palmetto Golf Club, Aiken, S.C., will be featured on "Katrek and Maginnes On Tap” Wednesday, November 5 at 6 p.m. Eastern on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio channel 92. The 26-year GCSAA member is hosting the 50th annual Palmetto Amateur this week. Palmetto Golf Club is the second-oldest golf course in its original location in the country. While on the golf team at Clemson, Swygert finished third at the 1994 NCAA Championship and also claimed the South Carolina State Amateur that same year.
