GCSAA publishes specialized information on a frequent basis that drills down on top advocacy issues and activities.
Spots are filing up quickly for the 2018 Ambassador Academy, presented by Amvac, at the Golf Industry Show in San Antonio 8 am-noon on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The training event for current GCSAA Grassroots Ambassadors, now in its fourth year, welcomes guest trainer and “advocacy guru” Stephanie Vance of Advocacy Associates to lead this interactive session. Ambassadors, novice and experienced alike, will learn how to formulate a winning message that will resonate with lawmakers at every level of government. Attendees will also hear from a panel of ambassadors who have found success in advocacy through their positive interactions with policy makers. Whether it’s job creation, resource conservation or environmental stewardship, superintendents have a great story to tell. At Ambassador Academy, you’ll discover how to use your story to influence those crafting laws and regulations that affect the superintendent profession. Register today by checking the box for seminar code 4105 at registration.
This session is offered exclusively to current GCSAA Grassroots Ambassadors. Not yet an ambassador but want to get involved in advocacy? Contact Michael Lee, manager, government affairs at 800-472-7878, ext. 3612 or mlee@gcsaa.org.
