Reminder: H-2B filing window opens July 3 for Oct. 1, 2026, start date
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) reminds employers seeking H-2B workers with an Oct. 1, 2026, start date that the filing window opens July 3, 2026 (12:00 a.m. ET), and closes July 5, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET). Applications filed before the opening of the window will be denied.
Employers filing during the three-day window will have their applications randomly ordered for processing after the window closes. DOL also reminds employers to submit only one application per job opportunity, include the required State Workforce Agency job order, and ensure Appendix B contains current signatures.
Additional information is available from the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Foreign Labor Certification.
