Bayer Grant program sends five winners to GIS
Five GCSAA members are receiving all-expenses paid trips to the Golf Industry Show through the EIFG’s Bayer Superintendent Grant Program. The program assists superintendents with their professional development through participation in the annual event. The 2016 winners are Jonathan Gruber, John Ekstrom, Daryl “Cody” Moldenhauer, Ethan Shamet and Jerry Webb, CGCS.
Condos receives top ELGA award; national and regional winners recognized
Mark Condos, superintendent at Las Positas GC in Livermore, Calif., has been chosen the Overall and National Public recipient of the 2015 Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards (ELGA), which are presented annually by GCSAA and Golf Digest in partnership with Syngenta and Rain Bird’s Golf Division. Condos is joined by fellow members Dave Davies, CGCS, and Jay Honeyball as national honorees. In addition, 14 chapter winners and one merit winner were chosen from GCSAA’s 98 affiliated chapters.
