GCSAA awarded funds, through the GCSAA Chapter Outreach Grant Program, to 11 chapters in support of their efforts to promote their members and the golf course superintendent profession. In all, GCSAA distributed $25,000 in grants to chapters.
Applications are now open for the 2014 GCSAA/Golf Digest Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards, which recognize superintendents and golf courses for their commitment to environmental stewardship. This year's awards, presented in partnership with Syngenta and Rain Bird, feature new criteria for the contest. Learn more and apply by Sept. 30.
