Another dirty democrat that won't resign! The guy is a creep that should be run out on a rail by his constituents. Why is it that democrat politicians tend to stay in office and every republican that does anything even bordering on bad conduct resigns immediately? Could it be that the democrat politicians cannot make a living doing anything if they lose the political good life? How many people did this creep blame before he finally had to admit that he is a twisted pervert that did it all to himself?

Corey, you are right. The brilliant Idaho representative chose to stick it out! I mean he finished his term. He got beat in the next election didn't he? I don't remember but I thought Idaho voters dealt properly with him. Ignoring both parties for a moment, I have to ask, where do these people come from?

Remember, Mr. Weiner spoke with Nancy Pelosi before he owned up to the truth. She knows the districts in NYC will be split up and he'll still get elected.

Scott, the difference seems to be that the dems don't reign but the republicans do. I still think it is because they have no other practical experience in life and are not qualified for any other job.

    Can't argue with that.

I don't necessarily believe these guys should be run out of office for infidelity. I think they should be run out of office for stupidity. I'm always amazed they think nobody is watching.

On the news tonight, it was reported Nancy Pelosi wants an Ethic investigation of Mr. Weiner.

I don't know the specifics of your reference Sandy, but did these Republics resign before they got caught?

Scott, you know the answer to your own question. No politician of any party admits anything before they get caught! All of them will are going to protect their butt as long as they can. Anthony the Pervert Weiner will fight this until his own party chews him up and spits him out. Guys like him, no matter the party, do not have enough common sense to represent any of us. Normal guys are not taking self pictures and sending them around to strangers, whats more people they know! He has some issues that in my mind disqualifies him from being in a position of leadership representing constituents.

I just checked out Weiner's video. I don't place much faith in his party line nonsense he is spewing. He doesn't have an answer on Medicare, the most costly program we have, we are broke and he is calling people hypocrites! We know he has now proven himself to b a liar so why would I believe his version of what Ryan has proposed. Until I hear a better solution out of the dems, I suggest they quit the blasting Ryan and actually look for an answer. By the way, I will be 65 next month so I would hope we would be able to develop a reasonable answer to Medicare and its long term viability. I would not be afraid of a voucher system since competition would be introduced and prices would improve.

Sandy, The reason GOP's resign when caught doing something stupid, immoral, and socially unacceptable is they are generally elected by conservatives to who these things matter. Democrats are generally elected by Liberals to who these things are not relavant to doing their job. What's sad about this case is Mr. Weiner  admits to having had this type of perverted behavior problem for years, even admitted to it prior to marrying his wife but could not stop himself. Geeze man grow up would you. Another case of Moral relativism. :

The country has a lot more to worry about than one more sicko democrat or republican for that matter. If the idiots in NYC want to re-elect him next year then they will continue to get what they so richly deserve. The most important thing facing all of us is the direction the current administration is steering the boat. The captain of this ship does not have a clue. The irony of all of this is a man that has bascially been hell bent on opposing the capitalistic system under which we operate is now trying to make it work............kind of like trying to teach algebra and not ever have taken the first day of it.

We keep lending money to those that owe us money and then we go borrow more from the Chinese or print more ourselves to further devalue the dollar. The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same things over and over again and expecting a different result. Weiner, Palin............whomever...... is the least of our worries!

I don't think the President is doing this by himself and he does not control the money supply.

Scott I agree as I do not think he is doing it alone. He has surrounded himself with as many incompetents as possible. Total control over the money supply, correct............but a great, great deal of influence over it.

In the past 21 years or so about 5 democrats have been involved in sex scandals
Most have resigned but not all.
15 Republicans in the same time 1990 to now and some have resigned but not all.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fe ... ted_States

Myself I think they should have all resigned and some should have gone to JAIL.

Well, one good thing is it's taking the heat off the Palin trainwreck. It's a gift for that lummox of a woman with the Paul Revere gaff and now the stupid email nonsense. What a piece of work.
Then again, any publicity is good publicity for her so she might be hating sharing the news cycle.

As I said in an earlier post on this topic as a country we have more important things to worry ourselves with besides another sicko congressman, be he or her a R or a D......all irrelevant. But that being said the Chair of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz did call for his resignation yesterday but on the other hand Charlie Rangle defended Weiner and said at least it was not little boys he was fooling with. Good one Charlie, guess 17 yo girls are fair game huh unless it was his daughter.

Wiener like all of us is guilty of being mortal and thus a sinner. What he did was a moral failing, but lying about it was a crime. A breach of trust with his voters and the other 300 + million of Americans that expect more from their elected representatives. We no longer, as a nation of people with values and morals, respect integrity. Being a celebrity is more important to us than being honest and forthright. Just go through your grocery store check out line and look at the tabloids.........nothing good is very on the covers.........more Arnold, more Eliot Spitzer now more Weiner (not intended as a pun). He is now seeking help........a decade after the fact but thats the way we do things now in America...........better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission. Hope he gets the help he needs......his district certainly deserves better representation, but then again they may not.

When we are more concerned with social networking, i.e, facebook, tweeting, blogging and whatever else is avialable then we have reached a low point as a nation. When we continue to celebrate the likes of Weiner, Spitzer, Edwards, Clinton, Vitter, Teddy Kennedy and the Barney Franks of this world.......we all get what we so richly deserve.

Sure old Tony will spend 45 days in rehab and come back a new man...........with a new twitter account under a different name.

About 20 years ago there was a guy caught for being a serial killer of young girls...in fact one of them was his co conspirator and wife's little sister. I was watching the new with my Gramma and I asked her if she thought the world was getting worse. She thought about it and said "There is so much more information available now. I don't think it's worse, you just hear about more" She added "There were always girls who went to stay with an aunt, an uncle your parents would never let you be alone with, and a kid down the road who was never seen again...but no one outside a small area ever heard about it"
I tend to believe in her wisdom. It hasn't gotten any worse, just a lot louder
