That just seems kind of harsh, I think. But, if you have your opinions, let's her 'em.
I do not like it when people refer to themselves in the third person ("Let Herman be Herman"). I do not like it when people are blatantly disrespectful ("Princess Nancy"). The Koch Brothers have tried to buy the US Government and may still succeed and Herman is proud to be "their brother from another mother". The NRA has agreed to spend 10's of thousands of dollars to mitigate his unwelcome sexual advances. Harsh?
To each his own -- you don't have to like him if you don't want to. But, I don't think he's the only person to have ever said any of the things he's said or done any of the things he's done.
For example, in September 2009, after Kanye West crashed Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at MTV's VMA awards show, Barrack Obama was picked up by a micrphone calling Kayne a jack@$$. Then, Obama jokingly asked where the press pool was and said, "Hey guys, cut the President some slack, I've got a lot going on." Obama used the third person, too. Will you think him a jerk or worse because of it?
Obama was also blatantly disrespectful on his Tonight Show appearance when he compared his bowling skills to the Special Olympics, casting disrespect toward everything those folks have worked for. Will you think him a jerk or worse because of it?
You can talk about the The Koch brothers all you want, but Obama has taken millions from lobbyists for his 2012 campaign (even though he said in 2008 that he wouldn't) and he's even taken money from big pharma and big oil reps who he asked not to register as lobbyists, so his campaign wouldn't look bad. Will you think him a jerk or worse because of it?
Sexual harassment claims against Cain have never been proven -- his accusers never wanted to go to court. But, harassment claims were brought against Clinton and he knowingly and willfully lied about them under oath. Will you think him a jerk or worse because of it?
I'm not saying that you have to like Herman Cain or anyone else. But, he doesn't have a monopoly on the things that you're bringing up. Others on both the left and right have done them -- including Obama. It just looks really inconsistent if you come out so strong against Herman Cain for doing some of the same things Obama has done, but you don't come out against Obama.
