Sorry Scott, but I'm not gonna' sit through a whole Rachel Madow show, having no idea when in that show the Koch-Cain comes up.

You'll have to narrow it down for me.

    Keith and Scott,

I think much of the country just knowingly elected a smoking President two and a half years ago. Is smoking now illegal?

The guy smokes and isn't embarrassed about it. So what?

    LOOK CLOSELY...its a joint.
OBVIOUSLY this is Cain's way of saying he is for legalizing "medical" marijuana.

Clay they basically look like nice, loving, environmentally friendly people........well maybe except for the guy taking a dump and the one wrestling with the cop and the ones totally trashing the park......well one loving couple anyway...................Oops wrong thread.

We probably all agree that smoking is bad -- its even got a Surgeon General's warning on the package.

But, didn't the president have a "Beer Summit" not that long ago? Doesn't beer have a Surgeon General's warning on it, too? What kind of message did that send our kids -- alcohol can solve all your problems?

I'm not going to force anyone to like the ad, but the left getting offended about the smoking is ridiculous, especially since the left's president openly smokes and drinks.

Why all the intolerance, all of a sudden?

This is what it has come to? Criticizing the staff member of a candidate for smoking. Really? You have nothing better than that?

unlike a lot of ex smokers I know, I am not offended by the guy having a cigarette. Just glad I quit. I would need a big raise if I was still smoking.

I loved the commercial because it perfectly epitomizes how in trouble conservatives are in 2012.
Seriously -- look what you're defending.

I have not made a comment in this thread yet. It was not my intent to criticize; I think conservatives look cool when they smoke.

7:58 through 11:15 - Cain is a fully owned candidate of the Koch Brothers.

I voted for Obama, but I think a lot of people voted against a Vice Presidential Candidate with the IQ of a pet.

When discussing VP candidates and IQ's I don't care what Biden's IQ is supposed to be but he is clearly one of the most ignorant and out of touch with reality VP's we have ever had. Knock Palin all you want but she certainly would not have been as stupid as Biden has turned out to be!

Thanks for the Aljazeera article, Scott. The Koch Bros sound like my kind of guys. Sorta' like George Soros to your ilk.

Sandy, I don't think I quite agree with you on all aspects, I think Biden taking the train when he was in the Senate allowed him to be in touch with reality. Where he might be considered out of touch in some degree was because of all his years in the Senate. But I think he is a regular guy who can sometimes stick his foot in his mouth, but I certainly think he is smarter then Palin, but that is my opinion.

The other thing you can't call Biden is a quitter, not like the half governor of Alaska.

I see no reason to knock Cains guy for smoking. After all, all the good Hollywood liberal actors smoke in their movies! I hate smoking but I am not going to tell someone else they shouldn't. It is their choice. I simply choose to be healthier and smell better than rancid smoke.

Now you wait just a minute here, Scott. That's a Fox News report. How can that be?

Anyway, I read the whole thing, and until the guy does some jail time.....well, accuastions arre just that.

Sit back, take it esy, and light up a cigarette.

This seems just the kind of story Fox news likes to sink their teeth into (Cain/sexual harassment allegation). Why does my news feed show every other news agency reporting on this except Fox? Is it the 'liberal-media-is-evil' thing again?
Seems like sort of a big story to let slide.
...I mean, opposed to reporting on kids defecating on cop cars and calling them terrorists.

I get my morning news fix from CNN Headline News and then whatever the radio has to offer on the way to/from work. Every excerpt I've seen or heard of Cain's "situation" was generated by Fox or an affiliate.
