Pete, are you actually reading my posts? Amazing, since I copy you on every one, and continually get a message stating, "I am out of the office at the moment. And if this is "Wallace", keep dreaming about a response."

I should be insulted, but since it's an auto-response, I'm not.

Are you buying me a lobster dinner in Vegas? Really? Thanks.

Steven Kurta said: Blocking or "cloaking" is common in most forums. It's a nice feature that makes communities easier to handle and in the long run keeps people around more than drives them away. It lets people take or leave content as they see fit -- "a la carte", so to speak. It's better than getting all HULK SMASH when people, or posts, push your button.

Gee after that I will have to unblock you. Thanks Steve for a succinct explanation.

I could provide a succinct explanation, or $20, if you'll unblock me.

Wait.....you wouldn't have blocked me in the first place. My posts are always informative, and usually printed out by every forum member to hang on their wall. In fact, Kurta's wall is full of my posts, framed in pure gold. He does have one up there of me and Gracie. Way cute. Gracie......not me. (Thanks, Steve)

Plus, I took really good care of Ko'olau Golf Club after you left. Granted, that wasn't difficult because you left it in such perfect condition. Okay, all of those bridges were rotten, requiring me to import teak logs from Java and personally hand planing then to resemble a Zamboni conditioned ice rink. Interesting fact: I used a nail file.

And i am in no way s#@&@&g up to you. (This is a test for my brother, Jeff Bollig. Our parents were weird, they named all the boys Jeff, and gave us different last names.)

Whoa! This is embarrassing. I thought I was quoting Pete, but it turns out I was quoting Sean, who was quoting Pete, who was quoting Mel, who was having lunch at the time.

Anyway, it's nice to know that I'm Sean's favorite author.

Sean, did you know you can download all my posts on your Kindle? And why does spell check suggest "Holbein" as an alternative to "Hoolehan"?

Pete, I think it's time to stop with the "forum policy" bashing. You go first.

Does that make sense? Can one "go first" while "stopping"?

    Lobster request still stands.

No.......But Michael's at the South Point Casino has Maine lobster to die for. I think reservations are required. You'll take care of that, right? You should probably bring your American Express Platinum. It's pricey....

I still might read some of these posts by clicking on them individually if there is a topic that i am personally interested in but when a topic is dominated with people who I block i do not waste any time with it. Personally I am glad that GCSAA is removing some offensive content, I highly doubt it added anything to the value of my membership in GCSAA. I currently block 4 individuals (out of over 1000's of registred users) not a very big list, and not a big deal.

I have severely cut back my posts here and will probably withdraw anything not job related. Over the years I have received so little support on this forum, but have received significant support in personal messages and email. I am confident what Sean considers locker room chatter and what I consider to be the same are different, but it is obvious that for both of us that reading it is a waste of time.

Scott...quit being such a "Insert expletive here" baby. And don't you dare reply with another one of those "Insert expletive here" videos. David secretly admires you. He confessed as much at Bahama Breeze in Orlando last year when I ran into him. He had been partaking of a few adult beverages at the time though.

Where were you guys sitting? I was at the inside bar, the pina coladas were pretty good.....are they considered adult beverages?

There are a lot of people reading these posts, but only a few who participate. You don't like me because I am a Christian and Sean does not like me because I am the wrong kind of Christian. This influences every response you make to me and disregards any merit that I may have added to the discussion. Pete and Clay will jab at me with anything they can come up with, and at every opportunity even if it is off topic because they are hard right wingers. It has also become very boring. If the lurkers on here who send me messages of support start to contribute I may feel more inclined play along. Otherwise, my hope of influencing moderates in this forum has been accomplished.

On Topic: I wonder if we could play Rush Limbaugh's audio from last week regarding Sandra Fluke on this website without having it taken down. I doubt it and rightly so!

An example of a boring comment with nothing to respond to.

Okay, let's see if you're right Scott....and lighten up.

Find a nice bottle of wine and some good eats and relax. Just ease up on the video responses. That's my only beef with you. It grows tiresome and I stopped watching them some time ago.

I have been around this industry for a long time. I was digging ditches for prominent superintendents while their pretty daughters watched me work in the hot sun. I admired these superintendents and sometimes got to know their daughters. These men have their names on plaques and trophies, and neither they nor I felt that their daughters' fell under Rush Limbaugh's disgusting definitions. In honor of fathers who love their daughters, of which I have two beauties, I hope the GCSAA has the good sense to take down all of these misogynistic comments.

I bet if I posted a video of David Feherty giving his keynote address, that would be taken down before the Rush video.

For the record, Rush is a bigoted, chauvinistic, hypocritical megalomaniac.
