   I have problems with Toro 1000 walk behind mowers - have tournnament bedknives on , frontroller set as close to reel possible but mower is like swimming when mowing is there any thoughts on that ....

   what height are you mowing at? It sounds like your knife is rubbing on the turf. If you have old reels that are worn out and trying to cut at a short height you may have to replace the reel to correct the issue.

   I am only at 4mm - so you might be right about the reels - do you think it would help Setting the frontroller in mid position ..

   That might help but if reel,is to small, especially on those 1000’s, the frame starts hitting the turf and nothing will help.
