It's just two different views of the world. He continuously mentions "fairness" but not once does he mention "freedom". Scott you seem like you have a big heart and care for the people that are hurting and so do I, but I feel like redistributing wealth keeps people in the entitlement mindset and we are not creating a culture that can survive on their own in the long term. I feel individuals create jobs, not government, individuals should provide for the poor, not government as a whole, and that the more government stays out of the way, the better off the low end of the spectrum will be in the long term. As I said, two differing world views.
