Friday, August 17, Mel Anderson, a retired 57-year member of the GCSAA was inducted into the Kansas Golf Hall of Fame during an inauguration luncheon at the Jayhawk Club in Lawrence.
This week, I experienced my first First Green field trip. The event was held at Palos Verdes Golf Club, just south of Los Angeles in Orange Country. The First Green is a program bringing STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to the golf course.
