This week, I experienced my first First Green field trip. The event was held at Palos Verdes Golf Club, just south of Los Angeles in Orange Country. The First Green is a program bringing STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to the golf course.

Rounds 4 Research — R4R for short — is a program working with golf facilities across the country provide donated rounds in which the public can bid.

When industry leaders band together to promote the efforts of golf, great things are the result. This was the case Thursday, March 8, at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul.

As true as the holiday season arrives, so does the chapter annual meeting season and education sessions across the Central Plains.

Receiving vital GCSAA updates, hearing from candidates running for the board of directors, and being engaged in the association are the vital objectives for attendees at the annual GCSAA chapter delegates meeting, held in Lawrence and Kansas City on November 7-8.
