Sticking with the chapter support theme from the past couple weeks, this week I’m highlighting the Chapter Connection communications.
GCSAA is only as strong as its affiliated chapters. With 95 chapters across North America, there is obviously a lot of communication between chapters and GCSAA, as well as the chapter themselves.
To assist with managing communications between GCSAA and affiliated chapters, the Chapter Connection communication was established. This communication ensures all parties are aware of important events and dates in the industry, as well as the requirements of affiliated GCSAA chapters.
For example, a recent Chapter Connection email included information on the following:
As you can see, there are various programs and initiatives which are highlighted, and the Chapter Connection allows GCSAA and chapters to be in sync. Not only does this ensure consistent communication between GCSAA and chapters, it allows chapters to offer pertinent information to their members.
What we have here, is a failure to communicate. Strother Martin uttered this now infamous line in Cool Hand Luke in 1967. With Chapter Connection, GCSAA and chapters are in no such predicament.
