Dear GCSAA members,
GCSAA and the USGA share a long history of support and partnership in our collective efforts to advance the game of golf and ensure its long-term sustainability. While the USGA has provided broad benefits in many aspects of the game of golf, GCSAA and its members have been the boots on the ground that help drive golfer enjoyment through advocacy, best management practices and environmental stewardship.
We have heard the many concerns that GCSAA members have voiced related to the recently announced partnership between the USGA and GGA Partners, and we have opened lines of communication with the USGA to share these concerns and to better understand everyone’s perspectives on this offering. We have been encouraged by the USGA’s willingness to discuss these matters and look forward to working with the USGA to advance the best interests of our members and the game.
