Lynn Roe, GCSAA's administrative coordinator, membership, passed away on Dec. 1 at age 67.
Lynn joined the GCSAA staff in 2008 as a customer service consultant and was promoted to senior coordinator, member solutions, in 2011, as part of the member solutions team. In 2022, she transitioned to the membership department as administrative coordinator. For many members, she was the friendly voice they would hear when they called into headquarters.
“Lynn will be missed. Her smile was contagious and her kindness impactful,” GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans said. “One of my most recent fond memories of Lynn involved being invited to her home and property to go turkey hunting with my son. In typical Lynn fashion, we were made to feel like family and right at home. On behalf of all the staff, we will miss her and our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.”
She is survived by her husband David McClure, daughter Hollen Goldston, son Keith Goldston and granddaughter Savannah Goldston.
Services will be held after the holidays.
