Field staff regions reorganized to better serve members

With a staff change in the Southeast Region at the start of the year, GCSAA took the opportunity to examine the distribution of field staff and found that a reorganization of the Southeast and Florida regions would be beneficial for members and chapters.

The former Florida region will be expanded to include most of Florida, as well as Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. This region will now be known as the South Atlantic region. Ralph Dain will bring his 16 years of field staff experience to serve members in the expanded region.

The Southeast region will still include Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee, but it will add the Florida panhandle and the state of Kentucky, which had previously been in the Great Lakes region. This change will provide increased opportunities to serve those members and chapters in the realigned Southeast region as well as the Great Lakes region. The Southeast field staff representative position is currently vacant, but GCSAA is actively working to fill the position. Steve Randall, director, chapter outreach, will continue to serve the region in the interim.

If you have questions, please contact Randall at srandall@gcsaa.org or 800-472-7878, ext. 5146. The changes to the regions are effective immediately.
