Suncoast GCSA Sporting Clay Event at Sarasota Gun Club

Stressed out and need a little relief from the daily grind! Join other SCGCSA members on March 15th 2018 at Knights Trail (Sarasota gun club). This is a social event and is limited to Suncoast members only! Spots are limited, sign up early. The Deadline to register is Monday, March 9th. 

Cost:  FREE to all SCGCSA members and potential members (superintendent, asst. superintendent, equipment manager, mechanic, affiliate) 50 total attendees - Only 20 spots are open for affiliate members

Social Activity:  1:00 pm Sporting clay shooting – is a form of clay pigeon shooting. Described as “golf with a shotgun,” the sport differs from trap and skeet shooting in that:

·         It is often considered to be more challenging than trap or skeet.

·         It involves shooting clay targets at multiple locations (called stations).

·         Unlike trap or skeet, which are games of repeatable targets presentations, sporting clay targets are thrown from clay throwing machines in a variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, and distance.

·         All equipment for sporting clays will be provided by Knights Trail


Food:  Lunch provided 12:00 – BBQ and drinks
