Continuing education requirement Attain at least 15 points, with a minimum of 9.0 must be education points OR Pass the written exam, plus attain 5.0 points, with a minimum of 3.0 education points. All points must be earned within your five-year CGCS renewal cycle. How to earn education and service points » 2. IPM requirement Fulfill the IPM requirement (either by submitting your pesticide license information or taking the IPM exam). 3. Apply for renewal Complete the renewal application and fee of $295 (GCSAA Member) or $365 (non-member) prior to your expiration date. Renewal applications received after the expiration date will not be processed. The Certified Golf Course Superintendent designation is governed by this Code of Standards.
